Oceanarium of Lisbon

When you live by the ocean, it makes sense to have an Oceanarium!  When we hosted the European PEF conference here in Lisbon...the social activity was taking the participants to the Oceanarium.  Another 'perk' of being a missionary involved in Self Reliance is that we got to go along, free of charge.  It was a great outing and a beautiful exhibit.

 

 Representatives from 5 different countries and the SLC co-coordinator attended, along with the European PEF specialists we work with 2 days a week and of course Antonio Paulo the Portugal Self Reliance Manager.

Sister Neiswender and I were in charge of the lunches and snacks for two days... Cooking for a big family really helped to prepare me for this part of my 'Missionary Service'  We served them "American" hot shredded beef sandwiches, potato salad, and Utah's favorite...Cafe Rio pulled pork salads the next day...They LOVED it all (:
